Silhouette Bears

I saw a bear for the first time in the wild last May. When I first spotted it, I initially thought it was a silhouette bear that people put in their yards. You may have seen the silhouette cowboys or dogs if you haven't seen the bears just yet. I wonder why people put those bears in their yard. Do you think it's an invitation for real bears saying 'you are welcome here', or do you think it's supposed to be a deterrent like 'you can see that this bear no longer moves, so if you walk in this yard, you won't ever move again either'. All I know is that when I'm riding down the road and see the silhouette bears, I get scared. I think it's real and I take caution only to find out that I've been tricked. I wish I could go into those people's yards and kick down those bears. They look stupid anyway. While I'm thinking about these silhouette bears, I would also like to address those with the plastic deer in their yard. They give me the same reaction as the bears. I get scared, and then I get mad. If you have one of those deer in your yard, don't wonder who knocked it down. It was me.
