Amazing Race

I got out of class early because one girl complained to the dean or something. I'm not sure what the deal is, but our teacher is only teaching what's in the book from now on. I can read, so I might not be going to class that often. Everyone was so mad at that girl. Our teacher was teaching us stuff that would be on the final pharmacy tech. exam because our book is horrible. She only wanted to learn what was i nthe book.

Yesterday afternoon, I stopped by CVS to pick up a VCR tape. The last one I bought has Black History Month programming on it, and I didn't want to tape over it. ALl they had were 4 or 5 packs of VCR tapes. I honestly only needed one, and I was surprised that they didn't have single tapes available. I guess I'm stuck in a time warp, and they are selling off their inventory. A 4 pack was like 7 dollars. I thought that was cheap. But, I'm happy because now I have 4 tapes and I can tape as much as I like. When I got home, I practiced programming the VCR so I would get everything recorded properly.

Since I was home before 9, I got to watch The Amazing Race instead of taping it. I love that show. My competitive side comes out, and I am just as nervous as the people participating. The Black family got eliminated. They are Black, so it was a great play on words. "Let's stay away from the Black family." It could be used two ways and I think it's funny, but it's probably really not funny. It's my silly sense of humor.

This is the only show I'm excited about watching this year. It's quite sad, but maybe I'll actually get my dishes done, or sweep my laundry room. Nah..I'll probably just add more Paul Newman films to my Netflix. Have I told you today that I LOVE him?
