Sometimes I Have a Heart
Well, my prayers have been answered. A guy at my work that is head of a department got let go today. I was rejoicing in YB's office when I heard the news. Then, I started feeling bad. The word on the street was that he had 30 days to turn his department around. I think it's been less than two weeks. That is a shame that a company can't stick to their word. Why would you even give someone a warning and then totally fire them out of the blue? He might have had things lined up for the next couple weeks and made an honest attempt to turn things around. Who knows? Hopefully they will hire someone else that knows what they're doing and turn the dept. around. In the meantime, I think things will probably get worse before they get better.
I dropped off my bridesmaid dress to Dr. Heather yesterday. She's excited to get married. I hope things work out for them. Her fiance was telling us last night that he wanted to get a bike. I told Dr. Heather that he saw how cool I looked the first time he met me (I rode to Heather's house) and was jealous that I had a bike. HA!!HA!! He wants to live vicariously through me, and I love it. Dr. Heather is worried because motorcycles are dangerous. I can understand her position. I might not want my husband riding a motorcycle and hanging out with slutty women either. hee hee.
For anyone that reads "The Peevery", auditions are coming up on Labor Day or sometime that weekend. I love reading the auditions because Michelle is funny/mean and it makes me laugh. I like the peeves also. Go sign up, all of you.
