Mailbox Finale

I have solved the case of the new mailbox.
When I drove home yesterday, I looked at my neighbor's mailbox (the neighbor that had my mailbox under their car). They have the exact same mailbox as me, the same gold and black slanted numbers, and the numbers are only on one side. When my mailbox was first put up, it only had numbers on one side.

I have deduced that they HAD to have put it up. There are too many coincidences. So..when I see them outside next time, I'll ask them if they put it up for me. I am such a jerk. I never do anything myself, and then people end up doing nice stuff for me. I will say thank you though. Can you believe it? I hope they don't feel bad that they ran over my old mailbox. It was my own negligence.
