My Day Off

I'll be leaving in about half an hour to go to PA to have my grandmother's deed transferred into my name. Apparently she owes money on her house, but I hope that I can still get it transferred. My mom thinks that I won't be able to do it, but I have to try for my grandmother. I think she's in denial that she owes $$.

I'm not sure what's going on between my Mom-mom and my mom, but my mom wants her to move to an independent living type home, and I think Mom-mom wants to stay in her house. She's 87, and she's lived in this house for over 50 years, so I can understand why she wants to stay, but she's having troubles with her vision and her arthritis, so she spills stuff a lot and can't see that she's dropping crumbs everywhere. I think my mom is getting tired of going up to PA for every single thing. I don't know if my mom has offered Mom-mom to live at her house, but sooner or later something has got to be done. I'll talk to my grandmother today and feel her out about moving or whatever.

If there is a lien on the house, I think we may have to sell it. The money she supposedly owes is way more than the house is worth, but we'll see.
