The Latest
I didn't have real Valentine's plans, so Ed and I went to meet up with my motorcycle group on Tuesday. We meet every Tuesday. Because it was Valentine's they had a limited menu and I ended up getting a gyro and french fries. Yesterday I went to lunch with YB, and had a caesar salad with scallops. So..yes, I ate scallops, but it wasn't on Valentine's Day.
Ed and I are back together. It was a very rough stretch, but for now I've come to the conclusion that this is it. YB tells me that I would know if this is 'the one', but I'm kind of scared. I don't want to drop Ed, and end up not finding my match until I'm 90. I want kids and I don't want to have them alone, and I don't want to be 90 and having my first kid, so for now, I think this is good. We definitely still have things to work out, but there's plenty of time for that. So that's the news on my relationship in a nutshell. For Valentine's he gave me a card and some Reese's peanut butter cups. I gave him a Take5 bar (his favorite) and a card with a dog on it. He loved his gift. hee hee.
My parent's are getting so excited about their trip. I had to go visit them yesterday and show my dad how to download his pictures from his camera. I also took my big suitcase down so they can bring back souvenirs. I think my dad is a little nervous about how many souvenirs my mom plans to buy. HA!!HA!! My suitcase is huge. They leave on Saturday to head to NY, and then they fly out from there.
I'm 4/4 for going to the gym and I'm really proud of myself. I used some weights today and the elliptical trainer. I planned to do 5 minutes on forward, and 5 minutes on reverse. The reverse was hard, so I only did about 3 minutes. But..it was time for me to finish my workout anyway, so I stopped. I suck at the gym. Once I start really sweating, I stop. I don't do that when I'm running, but when it comes to other equipment I'm a loser. Tomorrow I think I'll do a lap or two in the pool if I can hang. I'm nervous. The paper on using the pool says no hanging on the lanes. I'm not a strong swimmer, so I hope I can go one length without hanging on the lanes. HA!!HA!!

Good for you on the 4/4 going to the gym. I've been the opposite of that and have only gone 2x this week -due to studying, schedule etc. I need to get back to it though cuz I have a 5k next Sat..eeks!
