Amazing Race!
Is anyone watching this show this season? It started last night with a two hour special. I get so excited watching it. I guess it's my competitive nature, but I love, love, love this show. Last night, John and Scott, the lifelong friends (code for gay) were eliminated. They got stuck in a bad traffic jam, and didn't get out of the cab early enough, so that put them behind.
I am rooting for the hippies, BJ and Tyler, and also the dating couple, Yolanda and Ray as my second choice. My only problem with Yolanda and Ray is that they've been dating forever, but they have had a long distance relationship. They don't really know how the other person is in tons of different situations, so I don't know if this was such a good choice on my part. We'll see as the show goes on.
Don't forget it's Mar. 01. Change your toothbrush. I think I missed a month in there somewhere, and I might be off the normal course, but it's ok. Start fresh and begin again. I saw a commercial last night for a 360 toothbrush. It has a special pad on the back for you to brush your tongue. I'm not sure if it's Crest or Colgate that makes this toothbrush, but if it's on sale next time I'm doing my bulk toothbrush/toothpaste shopping, I'm going to get it.
I went swimming at the gym this morning, and I lost one contact. I was wearing goggles, but I did get some water in my eyes. I guess that's when it popped out. I had to leave the gym early, go home, and get my glasses. Booo...I should've taken my glasses along with me. Next time I'll know better. I used the kickboard. Ugh..what a workout for my legs. I'm so bad at swimming, but I'm trying to get better. I have to continue practicing. I haven't been running the past two days to try to let the top of my foot heal up. It's feeling a bit better, but tomorrow I think I'll be running again. My coworkers and I have been having a weigh-in on Tuesday, and I was surprised that I lost two pounds. So..I didn't have to put a dollar in the jar. I'm not trying to lose weight, I'm just being supportive of my coworkers. They've been doing well also, so it's pretty cool. No one has started crying yet. ;)
