The Big Boss (Big Nan)

Our big boss has been gone for the past two days. She hasn't called, everyone is freaking out and no one knows where she is. I'm glad no one's asking me because I don't want anyone to get the illusion that I care. I'm enjoying my freedom.

Surprisingly, I've actually done a little bit of work. I feel less stress when she's not here (even though she never really talks to me), but I'm able to do my work at my own pace, and that's what I like. Not that I'll actually finish anything, but I've made a concerted effort the past two days. I'm hoping she takes off all week, although I wish she would call someone and let us know.

Yesterday we were joking that she got deported. She is white and from NJ, so fat chance, but now that she's gone again today, maybe she was supporting the illegals and somehow got snatched up in the mix. hee hee. How crazy would that be? I can dream, I guess.

It's time for burgers and afterwards I hope to finish the book I'm reading "If I Live to Be 100. (How come I can't underline? I suck at html!)" It's a book with interviews of people who are 100 and over. It's pretty neat. Old people can be so cool sometimes.
