Sorry..
I officially hate using the new blogger from home. It's such a pain. I have to continually open things in new windows in order to use it, and I hate having a lot of windows open, so I close them all and go play spider solitaire. I'm a mess.
PSA for today- I just ordered my annual credit report, so you should probably do the same. Go to www.annualcreditreport.com and you can either call in adn have them mail it to you or look at it online. Because my address is crazy (there's a 1/2 in it), I have many different address types, so I have to call mine in and hope the computerized lady can understand me. It's a pain, but I remember going through the same thing last year.
I'm pretty much out of the march madness competition. I picked Kansas (well, I didn't pick a winner, but I would've picked Kansas) and they lost on Saturday. Texas is also out of it. I don't even know if I have anyone in the running at this point. Maybe Florida, but who cares anymore. It's 10 bucks down the drain, and it was fun while it lasted.
It's getting warm here, so I have to get my bike started and in shape. Emmie is having a party at the end of April, and it's a few hours away. Since I'll be riding down there alone, I don't want any surprises nor do I want to miss the party because of some stupid thing I could've had fixed if I wasn't such a slacker.
The students took their midterms last Wednesday. They missed a lot of the basic addition problems because they were either thinking too fast, or their writing was too messy for them to understand. It's hard to drill basics into people's heads. WRITE YOUR NUMBERS IN A STRAIGHT LINE!! How many times can you say that? The grades ranged from 65-100. Of course, the girl that got 100 wasn't in class, and I gave her the test to complete at home. She might have used a calculator, but I don't care. It's her loss if she doesn't want to learn the material. One teacher can only do so much. I did ask her to bring in her scrap paper today, so we'll see how smart she really is.
I went to a 21st bday party on Saturday night. There was weed everywhere. I haven't been to a party that reeks of weed in ages, so it kind of took me back. The people at the party were ok. I was DD (as usual), so I only had a couple glasses of wine, and played cards. The drunk people couldn't understand how I was so good at the game. I was like 'duh..my reflexes are at 100%, you idiots.' HA!!HA!! I love winning.
Anyway, hope everyone's doing ok. Miss you.
