Casablanca
I just watched Casablanca for the first time. I started it around 10:30, but I was asleep by 10:45. Oops. Then I woke up at 2, and started watching it again. It's a good movie. I got it from Columbia House. I figured if I bought it, I would actually watch it, and now I have. They have a documentary at the end, and you can learn more about the insight of the movie. It was really good. No wonder people of all ages like it.
My old coworker is from Granada, Spain. She has some guests visiting her, and they wanted to check out Baltimore for the day. She hurt her knee last week and is in bad condition. Since she can't move, I told them that they could stay at my place and I'd show them a good time. That's fine. I'm all about strangers in my house surprisingly (or maybe not). I picked them up at the Baltimore Aquarium, they followed me back home, and then we went back into the city for some action. They were so cute. We went to Federal Hill park and they took some awesome pictures of the skyline. I was a little sad I didn't have my camera. I never have my camera when I need it. Then, we searched and searched for parking and couldn't find one spot. We ended up parking on the ramp in the parking garage.
We got to the bar and I treated Fernando to a Beefeater Gin and Tonic (his first gin and tonic in the US), and Janna (H-ah-na) to a Woodchuck cider. It was hard figuring out what they wanted because of the language barrier, but they were both happy. I had a Magic Hat #9 (YAY!!). They saw people dressed up for Halloween and were taking pictures of them. You don't know how hard it is to explain a "king sized" condom costume. Shew! One guy that was being friendly found a condom and showed them. hee hee. All of a sudden, Fernando knew what was up. He said 'honey, like me!' HA!!HA!! He spoke in Spanish, but I have a feeling that's what he said.
We had a couple rounds, and then we headed home. I think they enjoyed the bar, but they wanted to hear some live music. The only problem is that I never hear live music, so I didn't really know where to take them. This morning, we got up, waited around for Ed for a bit (new people scare him and he never showed up), and then I took them to the Metro station. Today, they are sightseeing in DC (Fernando kept getting confused when I said 'DC' and not 'Washington DC'), and then they're on their way back to DE to stay with my coworker. I hope they had a good time. I enjoyed hanging out with them. I always have a place in Granada to stay, they said. Too bad Ed will be sleeping on the streets. HA!!HA!!

Sounds like a fun day -that was awfully nice of you! My Saturday stinks -working on a paper for school-ugh- and Grant STILL hasn't called...guess I've got to write him off now..I just don't get it. I'm a loser magnet.
Don't say that Krystyn. You have to control the guys-don't let them control you.
Good luck with your paper, cutie.
Ed reminds me of someone I know.
You're the best little tour guide! I hope you had fun.
