Money, Money, Mo-ney

I actually watched The Apprentice last night. They had two episodes in a row and I accidentally got sucked in.

I finally got money transferred to my bank account. Last week sometime I planned to transfer money from one bank account to another. Well, I'm such an idiot, I didn't think to actually check and make sure the transfer went through until last Thursday. So, I check my account, and I had like 100 dollars. I felt like I had been robbed. I accidentally set the transfer to take money out of my main account and put it into my spare account. Meanwhile, I had two outstanding checks, and they equal about 200 dollars. I also have the automatic payments set up for my phone bill and that's like 40 bucks or whatever. So I'm freaking out. I immediately do a transfer the other way, and I wait.

And wait..

And wait..

I spent this entire weekend with $0.00, and I'm freaking out because I knew those checks were going to go through, and I'd end up bouncing them. I've only bounced one check in my life and I didn't want to bounce three more.

So today is the best day ever! I'm no longer a poor person. I have money in the bank to pay my credit card bill (I hope they don't make me pay a late charge), and I can enjoy my half price burgers, and whatever else I want to buy. The automatic payment was posted today as well as the two checks that I thought were going to bounce. Maybe my 5.00 offering at church worked in my favor. :)

I'm totally scatterbrained, but I'm so happy I finally have money. No soup for me tonight!
