Superbowl 2007

I've always had a "wish" to go to the Superbowl. I decided last year that I would be going this year. No one thinks I'm going, but I am. I have been doing some research and there's this thing called the White Glove Foundation that hosts parties for big sports events. Their party for the Superbowl is listed at $4000. You get a ticket to the game (upgrades available), a pre-game brunch at Don Shula's restaurant, a commemorative football, several of the players are going to be in attendance, and they have a lounge where you can play xbox with them (big whoop. I suck at all video games), open bar, a guest speaker, etc..

My aunt lives near the stadium, so I don't have to pay for lodging. I think 4k for a lifelong dream is a pretty good deal. So..I think I'm ready to take the plunge.

Oh and I heard yesterday morning that Prince is going to be at the halftime show. I think that even if I'm in the nosebleed seats, 20 miles away, I would love to see Prince. Maybe if I can mingle properly with people at the pregame activities, someone will offer me one of their good seats and maybe hook me up with a limo ride to the game. I need to go shopping! hee hee.
