Where Has the Time Gone?

I haven't posted in forever. Well, 5 days. hee hee. A lot has been going on.

For those that don't know, Ryan and I are together now. It's been a month, I guess, I just haven't mentioned it. Things are good. I'm happy hanging out with him and I think he's happy hanging out with me. We've had some fun. He's even thought about a Christmas gift for me. It could be anything. I'm getting him some b&w photos of Baltimore in the 50s. He told me a while back that he would like some pictures, and I almost forgot that tidbit. The website is here!. I've picked out four that I like for him. If he doesn't want all of them, I will gladly take 3/4 that I've chosen.

I think my wintertime depression is setting in, even though it was 70 something degrees today. The short days really get to me. Once it's dark, I rarely leave my house. That means, after 5, I'm in. Scratch that. I don't want to leave my house. *boring* Although, I'm going to see Crazy Erin tonight and I'm just not into it. She started a small book club, and I read the book 4 books ago, so I don't know how much I'll be able to remember and participate. The guy in the bookclub was the limiting factor and it took him forever.

I have a couple Christmas parties to attend the next couple weekends, and I'm pretty excited about them. I like holiday parties with friends.

I went to my gay cousin's party last Friday and met up with my dad. I heart my dad. He's so funny. He said he was only going to eat a few appetizers. When the real food came out of the oven, he was right there next to the food table. I guess I take after him. Early bird gets the worm and when food is presented, get it while the gettin's good. My cousin lives in a bad part of Baltimore. Does anyone watch the Wire on HBO? Yeah, that's where he lives. People were selling drugs right across the street, and Daddy and I walked right past them. Talk about awkward. hee hee. Luckily my dad was in a suit, and I looked like a prostitute traipsing the city with heels. I think they thought we were one of them, unfortunately. It's sad.

I've been getting a lot of Christmas cards. Some of them are nice. Most of them are pictures of friends with husbands and babies and no words to say hi. I either throw them away or put them on my refrigerator. *boring* hee hee. I didn't send any cards this year. I guess it's good to feel loved-even if these so called friends can't write a simple note. I guess they do have handwritten envelopes. Perhaps that's sincere.

I think I need to plan a vacation. The last one I had was at the end of September. Does anyone want a visitor for a weekend or so? I think I need to get out after New Years.

Oh, I'm having a small New Year's party. I think maybe 6 people will show up, and that's fine. I want to make some good appetizers, so any suggestions are more than welcome.

The Ravens are 11-3. If the Colts win tonight, we are the division champions. Colts better win. The end.
