Who Needs Approval?
I'm not calling anyone out, but if you have a question to ask, just ask it! Don't ask if you can ask it. What is wrong with some people? I can't understand those that don't assert themselves when need be. Are they wanting approval, to be liked, someone to tell you you're ok? I really don't get it.
If I want to ask you why your shoes are on backwards, I don't say 'Hey, mind if I ask you something?' I say 'Hey, why are your shoes on backwards?' Here's another example 'I think I would like to go to the motorcycle shop this weekend.' My response is 'Go right ahead. Oh, are you inviting me?' I guess it goes along with the whole passive aggressive thing, but I don't understand that either. If you have something to say, just say it and stop pussyfooting around. You'll never get the answer you want if you avoid the question altogether. Once someone says 'no, you can't ask me a question', then you just feel pitiful and stupid and never even find out if they wanted to go to the motorcycle shop.
This probably doesn't make any sense, but I just had to say something! ;)

I cannot stand it when people do this. I know that some people are just shy or reserved, but there are a lot of people who do it just to be blatantly passive aggressive. My mother-in-law is the best at it.
did something happen to trigger this? :P
Uhm Peachy, can I leave you a comment?
YB stole my joke.
To me, proper is getting to the point. Don't waste my time with small talk unless you're my friend. I don't bother them with simple questions. I get to the point and leave when I have the answer I want.
Wow..I'm in a mood.
