Recruiters

I don't know what a lot of you have as jobs, but in my industry, jobs and recruiters change as fast as the weather. My company is constantly hiring/firing people and the neighbor companies are doing the same.

Just now, a recruiter called me about a job somewhere in MD. Supposedly a person who used to work here is now looking for someone else from here to work there. I don't know how they got my number but I hate talking to recruiters at work. I'm always keeping my ears open about jobs, but there is something very bad about recruiters calling me. I can't whisper. If I try I'm either too loud, or I'm not talking at all, just moving my lips. In my cube farm, everyone that is at their desk can hear me talking to this man, trying to be secretive, but wanting to get as much information as possible.

It's always good to have a recruiter's name just in case something bad happens, but why do they have to call me at work? That double ring is always a nightmare for me, but I think I got the info, and I'll e-mail the guy later to see what kind of opportunities he has available.

In the meantime, I'm back to resizing my picture.
