Friday Thoughts
Ossie Davis was found dead in his hotel room. I couldn't read the rest of the article because my coworkers were loud near me, but this news makes me sad. I do believe he just got an award at the Kennedy Center Honors, so he didn't even really have a chance to enjoy it (well, whatever perks you get from that). A lot of people have died recently and I don't think any of them are on Mel's death pool. Some boxer guy died today named Max something or oher, Ossie Davis and the Pope. Oops. He didn't die just yet. He's recovering from the flu. Sorry Pope. I think there was one other person that died today, but I can't recall the name.
According to Yahoo statistics, since the movie Sideways came out the sales of pino noir have increased tremendously. People are such sheep sometimes. Who watches a movie and then thinks 'oh, because that type of wine was in the movie I better go get some.' I haven't seen the movie, but maybe someone described it so people want to buy it and see if __ (enter star's name) was right about the wine. Very interesting.
Oh, I've had something in my eye since about 9:00. It hurts, but I can't seem to find anyone with contact solution around here. It feels like I have a piece of sand in my eye. Sometimes it's ok and sometimes it hurts really badly. Well, I have 3 hours until I go home, so I guess I'll live.
It's now time for me to start my day (it's 12:30). HA!!HA!! Happy Friday!!

sideways is such a freakin' good movie.
i'm also a complete and total wino.
pinot noir is good. but, i'm a cabernet girl, myself.
I hate when I get things in my eye. It happens all the time. I am going to get a patch, maybe you should too! So funny, I am totally updating my Dead Pool today. Hope you had a super weekend!
I like merlot and my newest favorite is Reisling. I made a lot of spelling mistakes in my blog. Can you tell I was distracted.

I haven't seen that movie yet, but I did buy pinot noir last week b/c the humongous wine store I go to had some good stuff on sale. Does that still make me a sheep? I'll do anything to save a buck. I guess the answer is yes!
I'm usually a merlot girl too, when I drink wine. I found a fume blanc I fell in love with recently too.
