Quick Easter Recap
Emmie, Kevin and her kids came to visit on Saturday. The kids are on spring break so they are staying with me the entire week. I have a couple things planned, but so far the plan isn't going so well. I thought that since it's rainy they can go to Port Discovery and hang out there for the afternoon. Port Discovery is like a children's museum (I guess). They are only open on the weekends from Labor Day to Memorial Day. So..that's out. Maybe we can go to the Science Center today (Notice I said we. I'm thinking about taking another 1/2 day.)
I went to church with my parents yesterday morning. I kind of missed my old church. It's gotten so big that I only recognized three or four people, but it was just kind of comforting sitting there. My mom and dad bickered at each other the entire time I was hanging out, but that's what they do best and it's pretty funny listening to them.
Dinner turned out great. Ed cooked everything and I "entertained." It turned out much better than I thought and the food was great. We had ham, turkey, stuffing broccoli, green beans, corn, potatoes, bread, apple pie, coconut cake (blech!), juice, soda, wine and maybe one other thing. I don't remember right now, but it was good. I'm going to try to make some turkey soup and some kind of ham soup soon. Thinking about dinner makes me hungry now.
Ed and I watched the second season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I can't stop laughing when I think of that show. *sigh* hee hee. Oh, we also watched The Contender last night. The yellow team(West) lost for the first time. It was kind of a sad ending. The boxer was crying A LOT. Poor guy.
The little boss is still on vacation so I think I might have to bail on work. There's no sense doing work today when I have a million projects to do. I might as well put it off for one more day, right? hee hee. Have a great Monday everybody.

I can finally leave a cpmment on peachy's blog *sigh*. Seeing that you had some yummy food to eat (i want some broccoli stuffing....never had that before, sounds good). Being that I've only been able to eat processed foor, a real home cooked meal sounds so good!
Hope you have fun with the kids....all week did you say?
he cried? what a puss. :P hehe.

You're lucky! I wish my man would cook for me! :D
