It's Friday, Yipee Ki-yi-yay!

I wish I had done my work this week. I have a paper due today that I've been working on a little over the course of the week, just not enough. The little boss is gone, my loud Friday coworker is gone, and now I have to sit here and finish up my paper. I hate today, but I am happy it's Friday.

I went to the mall last night to look around for some shoes. I hate shoe shopping. I might have to go back to Value City again. There were two pairs that were reasonable. We have to wear closed toes here, and I want something that's just comfortable and will last a long time. No, no easy spirits, but something similar. They didn't have my size in either pair. I guess I'll wear my one man band shoes until I feel like looking again. Shoe shopping is so depressing to me. I did end up buying a pair of hmmm...what color should I call these pants? Let's say, faded lobster (YB and Spacebrain helped with the color) corduroys. They're not red, they're not pink. It is a strange color. So, I had one success.

Oh I lied. I had two successes. After I was depressed about the shoes, I decided to get a new purse. I have a cheesy, fake Burberry that is actually kind of cute, but I'm getting tired of it. So, I was looking at the Coach section and then I remembered how I can't stand walking around with a purse with the label/brand so obvious (people compliment me all the time on that stupid Burberry and I hate it because the only reason they like it is because it's plaid and they think I spent a lot of money on it). I saw one Coach purse that was plain, but they only had beige and green. I almost got it, but it was some kind of suede or something, and that's not really durable enough for me, because I'm so carefree with my things. I ended up getting a 25 dollar Nine West purse with a lipstick holder (does anybody need this), and a cell phone holder (ditto). It's cute, but in addition to that, I made a last minute decision and got a really cute Dooney & Bourke square purse. It is black leather with cream stitching. Let me look for the picture. Here it is. I got it in black, and you don't have to go telling people how much I spent on it. No one needs to know. I'm not sure-do I take off that little duck tag or no? I don't know the etiquette. It looks kind of nice, but I have no idea.

I think I'm done shopping for another month. Should we place a wager to see how many rocks I can collect in the next month? hee hee.
