Headhunters Are the Worst
Have ever dealt with headhunters? Sometimes they can be pretty bad. Of course, one got me a job, but the rest really can't do much for me.
They always call me at work. I'm not a good phone talker. That means, I always use my outside voice, and I think I'm just not physically able to whisper. I never even talk on the phone at work, so if I'm sitting there chatting it up with someone, everyone will know that I'm looking for a job.
Monday afternoon some guy called me at 3:29. I leave work at 3:30, but I thought it might be Ed so I picked up. The guy tells me who it is and that he's looking for someone to fill x position. I stuttered and said it's a bad time and I'm getting ready to go. Then he starts asking me when the best time to call is. I should have said 'never, I'm at work and would like to keep my job for just a little longer.' I didn't. I told him 'uh..9am tomorrow?' hee hee. At least that way I could avoid his calls. He just called a few minutes ago (I think) and left a message. I hate answering the phone. I don't know why he keeps calling me. If he has my resume, he can email me. It's much more private and no one else has to know.
