Modern Girl's Guide to Life
Last Friday night Ed and I were watching "How Do I Look" or one of those shows, and there was an ad for this show, Modern Girl's Guide to Life. Of course it comes on at 10p on a Friday. I think any modern girl would be out and about at 10p on Friday, but what do I know? I obviously am not modern because I was home.
After Ed left, I watched a bit of the show. It's pretty lame. They have tidbits about flirting or how to dress cute but not slutty, etc.. Just girl stuff. So then there was a segment on getting a bikini wax. Why would I be interested in that you ask? I think I just want one. hee hee. I had one before, and the lady didn't do a very good job. I have nothing to compare it to, but I just think someone could do it better.
So...do people get recommendations on where to go for that? I have no idea how I know what places are good or bad. I'm so not a modern girl.
Oh, the other complaint I have is that all the shows on Style are in California. I think California is a great place for shopping and having tons of nice things in a small area. I don't really know, but they make it look like everything related to fashion is better in Cali.

Oh yeah I hear ya' on the fashion thing in CA. It's like only people in CA are fashionable?!?! Um no!
As for the bikini wax - you are on your own there-I've never had one and I think it may put me over my pain threshold.

i'm too scared to get a bikini wax. i don't want to be that girl who gets the wax from hello.
I like the IDEA of the wax but that has GOT to hurt! I want laser hair removal.
