What a Great Vacation

I'm a little swamped at work, but wanted to tell you guys that I made it back from my vacation.

There were about 225 Motor Maids in attendance at this year's convention, and we had about 75 guests. There were more than enough door prizes for every event we had and everything went smoothly. People said they loved the birthday party the best (I was the hostess/mc), and that made me really happy.

The news crews were at the convention in full force and we made the news in Baltimore, Hagerstown, and even the Washington Post. I haven't seen the articles yet, but I know we're in there. How cool is that. When I got home last night I had several emails from people wanting information on the Motor Maids, so that's a good sign.

Friday, Ed and I headed to Blackwater Falls. It was storming all last week (at night), and I thought sure we'd get rained on, but we didn't. On a 5 hour ride, we got hit with rain once for about 2 minutes and then we dried out. That rules.

Anyway, I'll have pictures up later tonight or tomorrow. I missed everyone. Hope you're well, and I'll work my way through everyone's blogs after I start my next project. :)
