Weekend Recap

There is WAY too much to tell so I'll just have to summarize it.
What a crazy, wild party. About 20,000 people were in attendance, and probably about 10,000 bikes. The party was held at Indian Lookout Country Club, which covers 190 acres. Pretty much every acre was used. The rally is not bikes only, so there were cars, trucks, RV's, station wagons, motorcycles, etc..

They had one section full of vendors, but it was about 100 degrees when Ed and I were walking around. I couldn't take the heat, so I got an ice cream and went back to our campsite. We camped with about 50 people in a group and they had grills and all the food/beer you could want. It ruled.

One fun part was that we were sitting facing the road (you can see from the pictures), and we just watched people parade by the entire weekend. I think I saw more tits this weekend than I have seen in my entire life. And no..it wasn't just girls that were flashing. Guys were also. There were people riding around naked on their bikes with only a towel on the seet, and boots on their feet. I swear. hee hee. It was just fun. Everyone had a great time and it was really cool. I think I was the only black girl there. I saw maybe three-four black guys, but not one other black girl in the group. One old man came up to me with some girl and said 'I've been coming here since 1978 (or whenever it started), and I have never seen a black girl. Can I take a picture with you?' I said 'oh, that's the award I win? Sure.' I was an oddity I think. hee hee. Strange, huh?

After all the bickering with Ed about my towns, he ended up going. Thursday night we got into the gates and were just talking with some of the people in our campsite, and he said 'yeah, we're going riding tomorrow.' I practically choked on my hamburger. I asked him about him later and why he told the guy he was going, like it was no big deal, and he said 'we've only been talking about it all week. Of course I was going.' *BIG SIGH* I wish I knew that. I didn't even take my maps with me because I figured I would give in, and not go. I'm SO happy we got to go even though it turned into a really long ride. It was worth it though.

And..that's basically the recap. Next year, we'll actually check out the beer games and the rodeo. Perhaps I'll even walk to the rowdy area. I stayed where it was somewhat tame. (Can you believe that?!) HA!!HA!! Oh yeah, they had a strip show and one of the girls was pregnant. Thank goodness she kept her skirt on. Ed said he was just waiting to see an arm coming out. hee hee. He's nasty.
