No Rock Songs
I got new shoes yesterday! Finally. No more jingling of rocks in the bottom of my shoes. I actually put the old ones in the new box, and the trash goes out tonight, so they will be gone from my sight.
I wanted to get some new boots in addition to regular black, closed toe work shoes, but I didn't see any that I really liked, and I didn't even attempt to try any on. I can't wear boots, but I love shopping for them and wishing they fit me. I like the long boots, but my calves are too small, so there is always space between my leg and the inside of the boot. It's unfortunate. I'll never be a fashionista. hee hee.
Ed was feeling sick last night so I went to see Hairspray by myself. What a great show. If you get the chance to see it, definitely go. The songs and dancing are so upbeat. I talked to the girl/lady that sits next to me. I think we're about the same age, and she is a season ticketholder also, so we see each other about once a month. She was telling me about her Christmas, and how she and her friends bought each other season tickets so they didn't feel bad about spending that much money on each other.
I was able to get street parking, so I didn't have to spend 7 dollars for a space, and since I was on the street, I was one of the first people to drive away after teh show. I will look for street parking more often. I wore my new long, grey coat. It's so cute.
Tonight my family and Ed's family are going to see "Mame" at the dinner theater. That should be a good show also. I can't wait until tomorrow. I can finally rest up for New Years.
