HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We made it to another year! I'm so happy to start fresh and begin again.
New Year's Day is a pretty cool day.

Last night I went to Ed's brother's house and since 4/8 of us weren't drinking, we played games and ate a fantastic dinner. We had salad with cranraisins and almonds, potatoes and cheese with a cornflake topping, and beef tenderloin. Delicious. We played Catchphrase for most of the evening. If you have never played that game, I suggest you go buy it. It's tons of fun.

Before we left, I told Ed I wasn't sure what I was going to wear, and he ran upstairs and said 'I have something for you to wear.' He got me an anniversary present, which was a white gold ring, with 7 diamonds going across the top. They're medium sized and they each have their own compartment. It's not a channel setting, but individual diamonds. I couldn't believe it. I didn't even get him a present (oops!). hee hee. It has now been officially two years for us. We had a fun time at the party, but the more jewelry I get, the more I feel like I'm sinking into a bigger and bigger hole. But..enough about that. It's a new year, and a new start.

Oh, and Nora, I had a flat tire on my car yesterday, so I had to rush to Mr. Tire to get it fixed. Thank GOD I have an air compressor in my garage. I pumped that bad boy up and headed to the shop. 20 bucks later, I'm good to go. I ran over a huge nail.
