Orioles v. LAA

LAA stands for Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. That's a really long name. YB told me about it the other day when I first got the Orioles schedule for this year.

I went to the game tonight, and the O's won 3-2. I love going to the games when the O's win. There is so much excitement in the air and everyone's happy. It was a fun game. I went with Ryan and Mr. High Society.

I was late getting there, and they met me at the gate because they bought a ticket for me (which was cool). So, we're watching the game, the inning changes, and Mr. High Society bails to go into the O's store. Ryan and I went on to our seats and waited..and waited..and waited. Finaly MHS (I'm a little "happy", so I will abbreviate) met us and had a new Orioles jersey on top of his regular shirt. It wasn't bad looking, but 60 or 70 bucks is a bit much for my tastes. They always increase the price when you have embroidery, but lucky for him, it's a generic jersey that he can wear for years and years. Ok..who cares. hee hee.

So we won the game 3-2. Let's go Orioles! Clap clap clap-clap-clap clap clap. Afterwards we headed to the Knotty Pine. It's karaoke night (my favorite). I decided to leave a little early because I have church in the morning. No "Rich Girl" for me tonight.

I made a cheesecake today that looks SO GOOD. I can't wait to try it tomorrow, and I am hoping it turns out as good as it looks. I used mascarpone cheese, AND toasted the almonds (for the crust). I can't wait to eat it tomorrow. The only thing that might suck is that I don't have a food processor, so I had to crunch the graham crackers and almonds with a mallet. I tried to figure out what people did before food processors, but my thinking cap was still sleeping. Lucky for me, the reviews got 5 stars, so I should be safe. I meant to read the reviews before I bought the ingredients, but I didn't. I love Giada on Everday Italian (Food Network). Everything she cooks looks great, and again, she always says 'mmmm' when she eats her food so it has to be good, right? I'll let you know the REAL verdict tomorrow night when I return from Easter dinner.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Easter, and see you on Monday!
