I'M SO LUCKY!!

I got the job!!!!

I met with the HR representative guy and his interview was very standard. I don't even really know why he interviewed me because as soon as I finished with him, I met with the woman who will be my boss, and she gave me a verbal offer.

She said she can't give me the financials just yet, but I will be making more than I'm making now, and then once I fill out some paperwork on skill sets and stuff like that they will increase my salary again. I'm a senior engineer, and they wanted a junior to mid engineer, so they have to figure out the financial stuff. It made me a little nervous at first, being overqualified, but I guess my charm won them over. I'm SO happy.

I have to wait for the paperwork, but hopefully I will get that in the next few days, and then I can start working around the first of August.

Good karma pays off, I guess. Oh, and I called the HR lady at my last job asking for my personnel file. I guess now she knows I'm serious about my unemployment and I'll see her in court.
