Reggae and Brew

The festival was a lot of fun yesterday. Courtney brought tons of her friends, and Lisa and I provided the blanket for all of her friends to sit on. Lisa and I did an experiment since we were sitting right along the path. We would wave to strangers and see if they turned around to see if we were waving at other people. Most people turned around, and then when we pointed saying 'No, you' they would wave back. We are so silly.

One guy had a red shirt that said "Hi. You'll do." I told him that I liked his shirt. Later in the beer line, we saw him and struck up conversation. Wouldn't you know, his sister works for the zoo, so she had free beer tickets to give out. Score! He gave us several tickets for beers. Thanks John!

There was a guy giving out free kettle corn samples (so good!). I asked for a sample, and the guy gave me 5 pieces. I told him that wasn't really enough for me to taste, and asked if I could have some more. He gave me a full handful, and I stuffed them in both of my pockets and shared them with everyone. hee hee. I'm officially a nut.

After the festival, we were all going back to our cars, and some of Courtney's friends were going to do coke. I was standing there, and I was really uncomfortable. They got in the car, and did whatever they had to do. I told Lisa that it was probably time for us to go. When they finished, we said bye and nice meeting you and stuff like that, and then we left. Weird. I've never seen people do coke before, and I didn't really see them, but it was just a weird atmosphere. I guess it's a good thing I was pretty out of it, but hmmm...I don't really know what to say. I'm so naive when it comes to drugs other than marijuana.

Later that night, Lisa, her husband and I went to my local bar and did karaoke. We sang three songs and her husband sang two songs. I nursed my beer for about 3 hours. hee hee. I was exhausted when I got home.
