Election Day 2006

Don't forget to vote. I rushed home from work so that I could get there before prime time (5:30-8:30). The line wasn't too bad, and the computers were working.

I voted for Erlich (republican) for governor. The democratic candidate hasn't really improved the city as mayor as far as I can tell, so I decided to stick with who we have. For Senate, I voted for Cardin, the democrat. His website was better at explaining his platforms, so I thought, why not?

I hate the random questions they ask after you pick the people. How would I know if the 3.6 million dollars that the county wants to borrow for parks will really go towards fixing the parks. They write all that stuff out in Greek, so who knows what they're even talking about half the time. I hate those questions. Maybe instead of slinging mud, they should let us know what the random questions will be, and try explaining them.

The whole political thing is such a racket.
