I'm a Jinxer
The weather has been really crazy here as it has been all over the world as a matter of fact. Yesterday it was supposed to be almost 70, but I only think it got to the low 60s, but it was also rainy. A few days ago I went to the store and decided to buy tissues. Maybe it was Nina's tissue post that got to me, or just the fact that I didn't have any in my house and haven't had any for at least a year. I don't catch colds easily, and I hardly ever have then, so what's the point of buying tissues? So, I bought the tissues.
Then, yesterday I was talking to YB, and he was saying that he felt silly and it probably meant that he was getting sick. I also went to the grocery store with another coworker and she bought a 3-pack of tissues. Fine. I got home last night and started feeling hot and cold. I had my heat on, but I would get these waves of chilliness. I decided to go to bed somewhat early and try to sleep off whatever was happening.
This morning I woke up and my throat was clogged. I wasn't hot or cold, but I just felt a little yucky. I went to the store and bought some cough drops and peanut butter crackers (no reason, they just called my name), and got into work around 8:30. I am now going through the hot/cold thing again, but I don't really feel bad. Maybe I'll go home a little early today. It's Friday and not like I'm doing anything anyway. I'll see how I feel at 12 (after I eat my coworker's homemade eggrolls). :D

awww, hope you don't get really sick...
Go to the store, get yourself some Echinacea (either the tea or the pills) and some Zicam or Airborne. And then tell yourself over and over that you are not getting sick. And you won't! I swear! I drink Echinacea tea every night because it helps to boost your immune system. I have been cold-free for about a year. I also believe in the power of positive thinking (well, at least when it comes to get sick - HA!).
Listen to The Mel, she knows what she's talking about. Echinacea is the way forward. Also honey, lemon, ginger and whiskey. It will either kill you or cure you...
Another tea that helps boost your immune system is Cats Claw. But that stuff is hard to find. Anyway, if you get sick, I'll wish you better but if you stay well...be a dear and send me some homemade egg rolls will you? *shivers with delight*
I'm gonna try to look for that Zicam or Airborne tomorrow. First thing in the morning. *sob* I hate being sick.
Adam, it was like a parade coming through the office on Friday, and there were no eggrolls left. Next time she makes them I'll let you know. It's good to see you "shivering with delight." hee hee.
