Chili Cook Off Day

My February has been filled with a lot of high points so far. I love February!! Today at work is the social committee's chili cook off. YB and Spacebrain are participating-may the best chili chef win!! I'm really excited to get upstairs and try everyone's chili, but with all the greedy guts at my work I probably won't get to try them all.

My contribution today is three large containers of sour cream and I brought some spoons. I had a jumbo pack of plasticware from Sam's Club (BJ's, Costco, Price Club), and I will never use them, so I donated them for the cause. It's enough of a donation for me to eat free chili. One girl said she's bringing bean-o. I'm curious to see if she was being honest.

One bad thing is that Senior Management is voting at 11:30, and then the rest of the peons get to eat at 12. I don't know why they aren't doing a people's choice vote. Our Senior Management makes such bad decisions all the time that the chili they pick collectively probably won't even be the best. They are such morons. I love how they can't fight for the chili and pretend they are "at one with the people" at noon, but get their own private tasting. THey really get on my nerves and I hope they're gone when I get up there.

One of my coworkers suggested making chili and peeing in it, and although that is really disgusting, I would crack up if I saw the head honchos eating it. He didn't make it though, unfortunately. That would be one point for the little people.
