Bad Parents

The guy that sits next to me at work has the worst kids ever. Every day there is a new story about his kid(s) running away, cursing out the teachers, hitting girls or boys, getting into car accidents, etc...

He does whatever the wife says, and the wife totally appeases the kids. They can yell, scream, run, kill and she makes excuses for them. He told us yesterday that he can't take the bad son's car away because he HAS to take the 12 year old to school. I asked about a bus and his response was 'she doesn't like taking the bus.' Well no wonder your kids are so bad. They run the house, and you could care less, and let them do whatever they want. He just complains to all of us about them, and we all just laugh.

So, the son just got reinstated at the school, and it is now 10:15. The kid has gone back to school for a couple hours, and my coworker received a call stating that the kid got kicked out again (15-20 days until school ends). We all joke at work that this coworker's experiences are all the birth control any of us will ever need. It's sad, but he needs to step up and be a dad. If the mom wasn't such a pushover, maybe their kids would be normal. I swear, if I have a kid that is stupid, I'm not going to live very long.
