You Make The Call
I emailed my friend Dr. Heather (the one getting married on Labor Day Friday) yesterday apologizing for not calling her on her bday. Her bday was the day I left for SD, and had too many things on my mind to make a simple phone call. Anyway, she wrote back and told me that she loved the gift that I sent her for her wedding and she'd already used the dishes 2 or 3 times and they match the kitchen, etc..
My question to you is, if you were getting married, and having gifts mailed to you was an option, would you open them before the wedding and use them?
I was a little taken aback that she had already opened the gift and used them and she's not even married yet. True, her boyfriend moved in in June, so they might as well be married, but I was just kind of surprised. I wrote back to her saying 'you're not supposed to open my gift until you're married! I guess I'll send your bridal shower gift once you return from your honeymoon.' Honestly, I don't even know if I'm going to send it to her. I don't feel like it, but I probably will anyway. I already have the gift, so not like I could use two pampered chef pizza stones. That's the only reason though.

My husband and I didn't open our presents until we got home from our honeymoon
Hi I Miei Pensieri. Thanks for stopping by. I would think that you would wait too. I just wanted to make sure I'm not crazy.
