My Coworker's Wife is Retarded

I know men like to be the "saviors" of women, but how can some men marry these women who absolutely know nothing about nothing.

My coworker, the one with the bad kids and whose wife is totally against punishing her kids, just got a call from the wife. I guess the AC in the house wasn't working. Here is his end of the conversation.

:Ok, there should be a heat, cool, fan. Did you touch any of those buttons?
:Did you walk down the stairs and hit the red switch?
:Why don't you sit outside?
:I'm working. There's nothing I can do right now.
:It's hot? Ok. I'll fix it when I'm home.

So, if you're the wife and the AC isn't working, don't you think you would figure out what you COULD do until he comes home? What do you want him to do since he works 2 hours from home? Why are you even bothering him with that stupid nonsense?Is it because you're hot. It's 80 degrees outside today with low humidity. Yesterday it was high 90s with high humidity. Suck it up. Maybe you could call a maintenance man and surprise your husband by doing something on your own for once. How about making a decision?

YB knows the wife, and I'm sure she's nice enough. I just think she's half-retarded.
