Charmin Basic
I've had this problem recently where I can't decide on a toilet paper that I like. Some are too soft and the roll doesn't last very long. Others are too scratchy. I thought I liked Cottonelle, but then when I bought it last time I wasn't such a fan. So..on Sunday I was down to like two rolls in three bathrooms (not good). Usually, I buy in super bulk and I never let the toilet paper get to two rolls without buying more, so I had to make an emergency shopping trip.
I was looking and touching all the different toilet paper packaging and I was really torn as to what kind I should buy. Sometimes I have weird shopping moods. America is great but honestly, sometimes there is too much choice. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw toilet paper wrapped in clear and orange. It was called Charmin Basic. It may have been in the stores a while, but I had never seen it. I bought it, took it home and tried it out. It's perfect! It's a little soft, but not so soft it'll disintegrate in your hands. It's also a little tough, but doesn't scratch you. I have to go back and buy more of this stuff before they discontinue it.
I think the marketing plan for this is for those that don't have a lot of money, but still want to have soft toilet paper. That would be me. I think it's similar to the Scott Pure Soft Toilet paper. They have been advertising that a lot, but I don't trust Scott to make anything soft.
Speaking of bathrooms and bathroom related stuff, I was out of town at the beginning of this month, so if you didn't change your toothbrush on your own, it's that time again. :)
