Today's Wire

I just read a brief tidbit about how Kansas City may host a Superbowl. That got me thinking. Going to the Superbowl is something on my things to do before I die list. I need to start planning that. I know it's outrageously expensive, but maybe I don't necessarily have to get tickets to the Superbowl, but if I could just hang out in the town amongst those who do have tickets. Perhaps that would be just as fun although, it would be great to have tickets. I need to find some connections somewhere. The circles I hang in, aren't exactly the people that would know someone who has tickets or know where to get them.

The other problem is that I don't want to plan for a Superbowl and then end up watching the Raiders play the Falcons. I don't know if that would be possible, but it's an example. I could care less about either of those teams. I think it would still be cool to be there, but I would really love to root for a team that I care about.
