Weekend Recap

Well, I already shared most of my weekend stuff, but I wanted to fill you in on a few other things.

Ed and I rode down to Charlestown, WV on Saturday. It was warm and wonderful. Oops-wild and wonderful (that's WV's motto). Mom-mom lost about 40 dollars on the machines, so she wasn't so happy. I think I might have played 5 bucks. I was mostly helping Mom-mom, so I didn't really plan to spend much money. We got her a wheelchair so that she could move from nickels to dollars to quarters with ease. I never realized how many people don't watch where they are going. Of course, I'm not the most courteous wheelchair driver either, but still. I probably bumped into about 5 people, and about 5 people probably bumped into me. I think my sister won about 30 bucks, and my mom won a few dollars. My dad had 4 quarters that he planned on spending. I think by the end of our time there he had spent them all. Ed laughed on the inside that that's all the money my dad took in with him. And Ed realized that people with money watch their money. I said 'Duh..' hee hee. I guess he never thought about that before. Maybe he'll cut me some slack! HA!!HA!! Sike.

I did the run yesterday, and I rode my motorcycle downtown. I guess I wasn't paying attention because after I took off my chaps, I realized I leaned in too close to the pipe with my warmups, and burned a hole near the shin. oops. Now my warmups just look a little worn. After the race, I sat on a bench drinking my beer and eating those snacks I talked about earlier. I watched the parade and then rode home. Well, apparently, the entire time I was standing/watching the parade and walking around town, I had a huge piece of gum on my butt, and no one said a word to me. I had gum on my moto. seat, and just thought it was something sticky and then when I got home I realized I had gum in my computer chair. I hope I can get that gum off my warmups. I guess people just like to look at my butt and not say anything to me. *ugh*

Today I'm a little bit sore, but the weather is great. I have to take my car to the shop this afternoon, and hope for more clear weather since I'll be riding to work all week.
