Busy Busy

I told my boss I'd have something turned in on Friday, so I had to actually do some work. But..I got most of it done and ready to turn in on Friday, so that was good. I was actually tired when I went home.

After work, I went to the gym because I didn't wake up in time on Friday morning, and the pool was packed. There were two lanes with only one person in it, and all the other lanes had two people. So I waited for the lady to get to the end, and I said 'Can I share a lap with you?' She said 'Well, I like to swim in a circle.' I said 'I don't mind. Just pass me if you have to.' Then one person in the next lane got out and she was like 'Why don't you swim in that lane?' I just said 'fine' and went to the next lane. The lady that I asked initially was swimming with snorkel gear on, and also had these tan work gloves on. I'm not sure what her deal was, but she was a strange bird. So, while I'm swimming up and down in my lane, a lady (we'll call her Pam) gets in the lane with that weird lady. I get to the end, and Pam is in the next lane over. Well, the weird lady, swims past Pam, and is totally splashing her, and going around in circles. I told Pam that she might as well come into my lane because that lady is rude. Pam was really happy to come into my lane. How can people be so rude and selfish. I hate going to the gym in the afternoons. Everyone puts their nasty sweat all over the machines and never wipe them off, the pool is too crowded, and no one wants to share a lane, etc..etc..

After I went to the gym, I had to pick up Crazy Erin's dog, Phoebe. I had no plans all weekend, so it was safe to watch her. We had a fun time together.

I watched three movies, I think. Let's see...History of Violence (not that good, and stupid sex scenes that don't even make sense to have in the movie), RENT (it was ok. I think the musical would be better), Matchstick Men (pretty good, but it took a while getting to the point), and I started to watch Bedknobs and Broomsticks, but I fell asleep. I'll finish that one up tonight.

Oh, I talked to Dr. Heather, and she is "planning" to get pregnant in September. I think my other lawyer friend is prego also. I have to call her tonight and get the scoop. Supposedly she has good news. I don't know what it would be other than that.
