Baseball with the Boys

I can't believe I forgot my camera today. I always forget it. I suck when it comes to taking pictures.

Ryan had his real birthday party today at the baseball field with about 20 of his friends. What a great time. It was really, super hot, and if I had balls, I think I would have sweated them off. hee hee. I was team manager the first game, and kept score and yelled out the lineup and cheered for everyone. Ryan's team blew the other team out of the water. I think the final score was like 21-5 or something like that.

I did play in the second game when a couple people left. We revamped the teams and thought we made them more even, but they weren't even. I think the other team won 21-5. HA!!HA!! I almost had a great catch in the outfield, but I didn't put my hand over the ball, and it fell out of my mitt. The funny thing is that I was running so fast, the ball was probably 100 yards behind me after I thought I caught it. That was a disappointment. I did make one good catch (the entire game), and I made it to first base once, and then I was able to run the bases another time. I suck at hitting, but I can run fast once I'm on base. :)

After the game, a lot of the guys went to Ryan's parents house to grill out for burgers and to eat cake, but I bailed. It was a long day, and I was sweaty and disgusting. I think I sweat a lot for a girl. I have to plan my outdoor outfits appropriately, so I don't look as bad as I feel. White t-shirts and prints are key for me, but I usually go with the former.

I'm glad I went. I think this was the third annual baseball party, and the second one I was invited to. I'll have to put this on my calendar. Oh, two other girls were there that I didn't know. I think everyone had a great time today. If they didn't, they weren't chewing enough Red Man. hee hee.
