Why I Love The Peeps I Link

I haven't watched JJ lately since the new season hasn't started, so I thought I'd write about each of you. I'm just waiting for the Ravens game, so I have time. I hope after reading this you all feel appreciated. It's my good deed of the day. Sorry if I wrote something you think isn't true. I did my best.

Yankeebob-He got me started with all this nonsense. He's really funny and I love reading his posts. Although he never gets really personal, his posts are fun and always interesting. I miss working with him too. Work will never be the same.

Adam-Now, our monster friend is a hard nut to crack. Sometimes he will have you crying with laughter over some silly little thing, and other times he'll make you think. HARD. He's a good (heh) guy, and he means well. Stop by sometime.

Freebird-I like Freebird because she gets to the point and there are no holds barred (or whatever that phrase is). She's my Mexican connection, and that's cool. Her posts are always great reads. She usually puts up a cartoon on Friday (although today she didn't), but one thing you can't say about her is that she's boring. Want excitement and drama that never stops (and it's never her fault)? Go by her place.

Terra- The only way to describe Terra and her blog is f*ing hilarious. She says the most random things, and a lot of times you have to be in the know to get ALL of what she's saying, but it works. She takes amazing pictures, and she's just a ball of hormonal joy. HA!!HA!!

Beergirl- The Beergirl doesn't post as much as she used to, and I miss her, but she's an advertising person and LOVES beer. I am definitely not the beer connoisseur, but I was able to share a beer with her that I liked and she ended up liking it. That really made me happy. She has a dog with a face only a mother and I could love, but that's another reason why she's cool. No one ever wants the silly looking dog. hee hee.

Cindy Lou- Cindy is pretty random as well. One day she's talking about fudge lovers and the next she's talking about I don't even know what. Most of her posts are quick tidbits, and she only posts on the hour or half hour. She has OCD about that. What's not to love?

T Hates Stupid- T has left us, so I need to clean up her sidebar. I wish she didn't go.

Jamy- Jamy's site is 'Grateful Dating.' After every post she says what she's grateful for. It's neat. She takes her time writing her posts, and you can tell that they are well thought out. She makes even the most mundane things interesting. She's single and a rower (I don't know if there's a real term for that), and she has an 'Ask Jamy' column every week or whenever people write in. She reminds me of myself in some ways, and I think that's why I like reading her posts. Of course, she takes her time posting, and I just blab about whatever. She's one up on me.

Pixie- Pixie is a nursing student. I haven't REALLY quite figured out her personality just yet, but she has some great posts. She recently went to Alaska and the pictures were spectacular. I have never seen a picture of her, and I couldn't even begin to tell you what she looks like, and that's what is intriguing. For some reason, I just like reading about her life. And she just passed her Procalc class, so three cheers for Pixie.

Platinum Girl- PG rocks. She's the friend that will be there whenever you need her. 100%. She loves Sierra Nevada and she is married. Every post of hers includes food. HA!!HA!! I love food, so it works. She cooks dinner every night and hates that so many people don't cook. She has stepdaughter and I think that's really cool because if I had a stepmom, I'd want her to be like PG. Ever since she got her promotion, she's been super busy, but when she does post, it's well worth the read.

Abstract Amy- I like reading Amy's blog because she's always so torn. She has tons of friends and she hangs out a lot. She's 24, I think, and that is the age of FUN, FUN, and more FUN. She just recently started getting more personal on her blog, and sometimes you can see that she's not who she always seems on her blog. It's a great mix of emotions. Oh..YB and I were clicking on random people's links one day, and I saw that she had me linked. I felt bad, so I immediately went to her blog and was like "HEY! How come you didn't tell me you linked me?" We've been BFF since then. hee hee. Not really, but it's cool.

Betty-Where to begin. Betty has been a million different people from one day to the next. Betty is the one that's always completely honest about everything. She'll tell you she cried, she'll tell you she had a "monthly" accident at work (HA!!HA!! That was a good post), she'll tell you that she drives around for hours at night with no destination in mind and not care. She posts a lot, so when no one else is around, you can always count on Betty. Not to be a total perv, but her son, The Monkey, is the cutest boy ever. EVER. If only I was five, and lived in TN. *sigh*

Alaskan Amy- Amy had to go to a new site, so I have her name here in spirit. That's all I'll say.

FunkyBee- DC in the HOUSE! hee hee. Funkybee is our local businesswoman who also has a day job. I think she's the person that wins the friend count. Or..she's the person that wins the 'always drunk with friends' count. hee hee. She loves her martinis, and The Sweet One. Her posts are always fun to read. She's about to get married, so there is a lot of talk about that, but I like her because she's pretty, fun and creative. I wish I had one creative bone in my body. Her cubicle at work is pink. How lucky is she?

Little Eyes- LE's my girl. I have talked to her on the phone, so that's sort of real life. hee hee. LE is so sensible and smart. She's a writer, and she writes short stories (sometimes even scary ones) and is trying to figure out what to do with her life. I have to give LE props just because she is not afraid to be herself, and she does what she needs to do. Put up or shut up. If you are looking for something to do in your spare time, check out her stories. I'm telling you, one day she's hitting the big time, and we'll say we knew her when...

Single Guy- The single guy had to go on the downlow for a while as well. He has a new girlfriend that he just adores. He loves the Red Sox and the Giants. While I have no comment on either of those teams, his posts are very insightful. A lot of guys don't talk about their feelings, but the Single Guy does, and it's always interesting to read about love and dating and stuff from a guy's point of view. To me, he seems a little sensitive when it comes to relationships, but I think that only because I've read about his feelings. It's really a Catch 22, but SG is all man.

Krystyn- Krystyn is very unique. She loves flip flops and NYC. She's been to NYC about 4 times this year, and she goes to shows all the time. Gotta love a girl with culture. She is in grad school studying, I want to say psychology (I think), and she is recently engaged. I like reading her blog because she uses a lot of different colors, and she's good at talking about her emotions. She is a sensitive person and sometimes I think wears her heart on her sleeves, but that's why I like reading her posts. I never have my heart on my sleeve (what heart?!), so it's something different. If you want an honest blog to read, swing by. I want to say heartfelt, but that sounds a little mushy, and she's not mushy. She's just a girl with great intentions and she cares about everybody around her.

Peeved Michelle- I should change the name to 'The Peevery', but I won't because I don't feel like it. I'm giving Michelle all the credit. I love The Peevery only because the people she "hired" are so funny when they discuss their peeves. I'm not sure if they write them to make people laugh, but at least once a day I'm laughing at someone's misfortune. I love reading about other people's peeves. I don't know that I could listen to it all day, but reading it on my time is the way to go.

Single Girl- This is a girl in NYC who gives dating advice every day. She runs a dating business and has events in the larger cities. Sometimes it gets a little routine, but I'm such a nosey rose that I like reading about everyone's dating questions. A lot of times, I think 'Did these people even read what they wrote? If they did, they would already know the answer.' But..that's the type of girl I am. The problem solver, not the empathiser (empathizer?).

Wendy in the City- I think I found Wendy through the Single Guy. She just published a book (I didn't buy it), and she just finished her grad school degree. She is funny because she writes just like she talks (that's an assumption). She will talk about how she has no job and should really start looking, but she'd rather go drinking with her friends, or riding her bike. She is very physically fit, but she won't run in a race to save her life. Oh, she lives in Chicago. I don't know anyone in Chicago, so I have to keep the connection in case I'm stuck on my motorcycle in traffic and need a place to stay. :)

Stream-o- I keep this just because I haven't cleaned up my sidebar. The idea was great, but Surburbite, the guy who started it all left the blogging community, as far as I know.

If you made it through this, we both need lives. HA!!HA!! Have a great weekend.
