Wednesday Wednesday
This weekend I'm going on my shopping spree. I'm not too happy about it, but all my pants are getting way too tight, and I just need a change. My goal is to go to the mall and try to get to three stores without getting frustrated. I will buy at least three things. That's my goal.
I was watching MTV or VH1 on Monday night and saw that show Strange Love that YB was talking about with Bridgette Nielsen, Flava Flav and Matti(Bridgette's fiancee). That show was SOOOOOOOO bad. I watched one segment and I had had enough. Flava Flav looks so old. HA!!HA!! Good thing I found the special on Martin Luther King Jr. Poor MLK Jr. I sure would like to talk to him when I get to heaven.
I also did laundry on Monday night and one sweater I have says 'lay flat to dry.' Well, since it's only 15 degrees outside, and not that warm in my basement I figured I would put it in the dryer on air fluff or whatever that setting is. I think I shrunk my sweater but I don't want to admit it. This is one of my favorites and now it's going to the goodwill pile. I suck at doing laundry. No...it's just that I'm impatient.
I got a call last night from my first boss. I was a temporary employee, and this woman has always been keeping an eye out for me as far as jobs and stuff like that. Well, she's Japanese and has a really strong accent. She asked me if I knew XXX. I couldn't understand her and just said 'nope.' I thought about what she was trying to say and couldn't figure it out. Then she said that this person said they are the boss at my company. I said 'OH!! That's my little boss.' Interesting tidbit. I gave my little boss an outstanding recommendation. Even though she's my little boss, she's nice, and a good worker and if she's trying to get out of here, I don't blame her at all. She only hounds us because other people hound her. So, we'll see when she goes to an interview, and maybe she'll get the job because of me. I still haven't figured out if this is a good or bad thing. I'll keep you guys updated.

I HATE it when I ruin my own sweaters. I've done that once too many times myself. All because I wanted to wear it today, not in a day or so. In my impatience, I guaranteed I could wear it never again. Boo.
Good luck shopping for pants. That's my least favorite thing to shop for. I'd prefer to shop for jeans, or even a bathing suit, than to try to shop for dressy pants. (I'm short, so it's a gigantic pain to find something that fits correctly.)
Do you think that when they say "dry flat" they're not really serious? hahaha. Sorry you messed up your sweater...
i hate doing laundry. UGH.
oh, and i hate shopping.
what do you mean by "little boss?" very short or something?
For the clothes that say dry flat, I put them on top of the dryer while the dryer is running. That always works. It keeps it's shape that way. If you put it on a hanger, the clothes kind of sag.
The little boss is the intermediate between me and the big boss. But now that our big boss got fired a while back, she's the big boss, but she's my age, so I'm not calling her the big boss. hee hee.
If she leaves, I'm leaving too.
