I Got a Pedicure

I forgot to tell you guys. I had the second pedicure of my life on Tuesday. I can't really remember the first one, but I know I've had one before.

I was talking to my coworker, and I asked her if I had to wear flip flops when I went to the nail place. She said that's a good idea. I was happy because I remembered that I bought two pairs of cheap flip flops from Payless a couple years ago, and now they would come in handy. Well, I got home, and couldn't find the flip flops for the life of me. I had a blue pair and a clear pair. I remember they hurt in between my toes, so knowing me, I guess I threw them away.

All I had were black mules, so that's what I wore.
I walked into the place and the ladies were talking to me, but I couldn't even understand what they were saying. The one girl motioned me to the back to sit and wait, so I did. Then, when it was my turn she was asking me something about color. I said 'yeah, I want color.' then she said 'Go get it and bring it here.' ugh! So, I had to go find a color that I liked (I just got a plain pink color), and then I got to sit in the chair.

The lady next to me was practically convulsing in the chair because it was some kind of massage/vibrating chair. I didn't use my chair the way it was intended, and just sat there reading my magazine. When the lady used the old skin foot scraper, my foot started tickling. So, I'm sitting there laughing and she's smiling at me, and the other people were just kind of looking over. That only happened on one foot though. She painted my toes and then sent me off to the dryer. You know those foam dividers that they have in the stores? Well, I didn't get one of htose. The lady just put a rough napkin in between my toes. My big toe sits under my second toe a little, so my big toe polish came off on the side. I was going to say something to her, but with the way my toes are, you can't see that the polish is gone anyway.
The pedicure wasn't very exciting, and I don't know how people could stand to sit in that smelly (acetone/acrylic)place every couple weeks, but my feet are soft now, and the pink color looks kind of cute on my toes. I doubt I'll be back. I'm not into it.

Several girls got their eyebrows plucked, but the funny thing is that their eyebrows already looked nice to me. The lady asked if I wanted to get my fingernails or eyebrows done. I declined and then looked at her eyebrows. Talk about furry. hee hee.
