March Madness

I just finished filling out my basketball pool. I always suck at this, but I still play anyway. It gives me something to look forward to for the next couple weeks (well, until April 03). I decided to go against the grain and have Ohio State and Texas in the finals with Texas winning it all. Both of those teams are ranked #2. In the end, I went with Texas since they won the Rose Bowl. Teams that are winners like to continue winning. UNC won the championship last year, and although I would like to see them make it again, their team is too young an inexperienced. I do have them making it to the Elite 8, but I have UConn knocking them out. Most people are going with UConn, but I want to mix it up a bit.

It was SO freezing cold last night that I ended up not dressing up for the theater. Well, I had on work pants and a sweater, but I went to warm up my car with my dress and shoes on, and it was just way too cold. I don't have any stockings that match my skin right now, and pink, gold and black stockings don't match well. I did paint my toes, and I was all ready to take the picture, but my camera died, and I didn't have one set of working batteries in the house. True..I have a remote control, but I guess the camera needs more juice than the remote, and the batteries didn't work. I charged up my batteries overnight, so I should be able to take the picture today. Slightly staged, but it will still get the point across.

I found out that Ed's brother that was using bad drugs is still using them. I thought he'd been clean since Jan. 10 when everything initially went down, but he hasn't been and now he has to go to a treatment center. Scary mama. I hope this works, but I don't really have a lot of faith. I'll have to say some prayers for him this Sunday when I go to church. Oh, I've been going to church every Sunday for the last 4 weeks. It's a pretty cool church. It's called Rising Sun Baptist and it's held at the elementary school near my house.

Today I haven't been on an eating frenzy. I only had a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, and some water. But..we're supposed to be ordering Chipotle at lunchtime, and that's 45 minutes from now, so I'm excited.

Allright, I guess I better get back to work. *groan* Another person put in their notice. Big whoop. That's the 6th person in about a month's time. Crazy, huh?
