Bragging Rights and Apple Pie
Where has the time gone? It's already Friday, and I'm already looking forward to Monday . HA!!HA!! Oops. Sorry workers.
Does anyone know the story of Henry David Thoreau? You know how he lived in the woods by himself for years or months? I loved his story when I learned about him in 11th grade English. I can't read 'Walden' because it put me to sleep, but I think I could be alone for a long period of time and be ok with it. That's what I've been doing since I got laid off (more or less), but I absolutely love it. I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. I love being on my motorcycle, but I also love sitting in my house alone. I wish I could put it into words, but I can't. I can take my shower when I want to, go to sleep watching People's court, play spider solitaire and talk on the phone at the same time, peek in my neighbor's windows (ha ha). There are no rules in my house, and I LOVE IT!
Enough bragging. I went to lunch today with YB. What a wonderful guy. He treated me even after I told him about the joys of being such a scrooge all my life. I'm so happy I don't have to worry about getting another job, and I don't have to rely on some stupid sugardaddy. This is the life. Girls, I'm telling you, PUT SOME MONEY ASIDE. YB had a cheeseburger sub, and I had a French Dip sandwich. I'm on a meat kick. I ate two prime ribs and a taco last night, and then French Dip today. I love me some meat! Of course, tonight I'm eating apple pie and Michelob for dinner, but it's cool. I'm getting all of my food groups. I even took my calcium pill today. I think I'm ok. YB is so happy and relaxed at his new job. Not relaxed like we used to be, but so comfortable. Both of us decided that we picked up some serious bad work habits at our old job. That thought made us laugh. We seriously chilled at our old place. Imagine, 3 years of chilling and getting paid for it. YB was there longer than I was. The million dollar question at lunch was 'do I want a spark or a safety net?' I choose not to answer.
I watched a bit of soccer this morning. The Argentinian team played so well. They beat Serbia-Montenegra (or something like that) 6-0. Unbelievable. I think my future husband lives in Argentina. hee hee. This afternoon I watched Angola and Mexico battle it out. The score ended with a 0-0 tie.
That's it for this Friday's episode. See you sometime next week when Peachy decides...TO GO TO THE LIBRARY AND FIND SOME VOLUNTEER WORK. hee hee. Stay tuned.

sounds like you are truly having a blast not working. I've been keeping up with the world cup too (GO ECUADOR!). The Argentina game this morning was embarassing. Poor Sebia - they could have just sat down on the field and the score would probably have been the same. I watched the end of the Mexico game from the treadmill. Somehow watching soccer while running makes you just want to keep running and running. I feel like I'm on the field with them ;O)
I was thinking about the whole running thing too. 90 minutes of running with a 15 minute break is insane. But check out their muscles. Yum-my.
Ecuador is looking great. They are one of my favorites to win it all.
