A Day and Night With the Boys

The rain finally stopped here around 1. Ryan called and asked where I was, and if I was meeting up with him after the boys played their soccer game. I told him I was in my bed, but I'd get up and meet them at the Brewery. The Wild Goose Brewery is in Frederick, and they have a 20 minute beer tour every Saturday, and all the beer you can drink is included. Score! [On my drive out west, I was thinking that I have to feel the guys out and see if Ryan had mentioned anything about me to anyone. I didn't know how I was going to do this, but that was my plan.]

I met up with Ryan, his brother and his dad, and we went on the tour, along with a group of about 30 other people. I wore a sweater, my thin corduroys (the high was 59 yesterday), and my work boots. One of his friend said 'Peachy, you're so dressed up today. What's up?' I said 'What? I'm not dressed up.' He said 'You never wear sweaters.' hee hee. I said 'My options for a cold day are a sweater or a sweatshirt. Today, I went with the sweater since we'll be out and about with others. I love sweaters. There's more where this came from.' I guess he never sees me in sweaters. I have no idea. Then, his other friend (we'll call him John-I love making up names) said 'Is that sweater from J.Crew?' I, of course, said 'Yes, but don't tell anyone. I don't need people knowing I spent 80 bucks on a sweater.' We shook hands. John is the shopper of the group, apparently.

Later on that night, I was talking and joking with John a lot. He's good people. Usually when I hang out with the group, I tend to talk to one or two people more than the others for some reason. It's always a different friend though. It's weird. So, after a while, John stopped talking to me. It wasn't obvious, to me, but that's where the next part comes in. I'm always mingling, so running around is what I do.

Around midnight, everyone in the group was gone. We all left the bar, and decided to go to the next bar. By the time we got to the next bar, no one was there, but John. I guess we walked too fast, or people met up with other people along the way and turned off. I don't know what happened. So John called Tim (we all started at Tim's house) and he said "I'm sleeping," and hung up the phone. So, we decided to go back to Tim's house and wake him up and get our keys and stuff. We got there, and the house was dark, the doors were locked, and no one was there. I told John that we had to find SOMEONE. He finally got in touch with the group and we started walking back to the bar. Along the way John was asking me who I liked in the group. I told him that I liked all of them. Then he said 'But who would you want to kiss?' I started laughing and said 'Huh? I'd kiss all of you guys.' HA!!HA!! Then he told me that earlier when we were talking and joking, Tim pulled him aside and said "Stop hanging out and making Peachy laugh (that's not hard to do). Ryan likes her, and he's getting mad at you." I was really surprised when he told me that and I said "Oh yeah? I didn't realize you stopped talking to me. He said that? That's funny." Then I told him that I like talking to everyone, and don't stop talking to me because of what Tim said. Ryan will be ok. Then we started talking about other stuff on our walk and we made it to the bar.

How about that?! hee hee. I'm a silly school girl.
