My Purchases in NYC
I was so tired typing my post about NYC, I forgot to tell you guys what I bought.
We had to wait for my sister to meet us, so I suggested we go to H&M and look around. I always hear about this store, but I had never gone in before. It is packed with clothing. I think the store might be kind of cheap (which I hate), but if you want to look fashionable every season, this is the place to go. Of course, I'm not the most fashionable, so I thought I'd pretend. I immediately saw a dress that I loved. It's black (which I didn't love), and it is goes down to my knees. It kind of flips out near the knees, but it's fitted everywhere else. It's long sleeved, and made out of some kind of wool/angora mix. It has these big black button balls all over the front. It sounds hideous, but it's really cute. I know if I take a picture, there's no way you could see the details, so I won't. I think I'll wear it to the theater when it gets a little cooler. It took me 15 minutes to get it, try it on, and buy it. So much for wasting time. I was surprised that there was only one 4. The rest were 8, 10 and 12. Maybe the skinny people like the dress. I'm glad the 4 fit me. My dad said he was impressed with my quick shopping abilities. I told him that I take after him.
I also bought some black boots that actually fit my skinny calves. They are Mudd brand, and I figured that the teenagers have skinnier calves than women, and I guess I was right. They are a little big, below the calf but above my ankle, but they'll do.
Last but not least, I bought some Anthousa Home Fragrance perfumes. This is the scented bottle, and comes with the wooden skewers/sticks that you stick in the bottle. I bought the citrus collection and it smells so good. I have one in the basement, one in my bedroom and one in my living room. I'm happy with all of my purchases. :) The best part is I didn't have to wait in line once. I hate lines.
