Yes, Valentine's Day is Coming
Today, I will discuss my Valentine's Day dilemma.
For those that haven't realized it yet, I love going out to eat. The last time I went out was to that Irish restaurant (alone). The post is somewhere down there. I'm too lazy to find it, but the faithful will know what I'm talking about. I don't think Ed appreciates good food like I do. He's happy with everything except red licorice and maraschino cherries.
This year, I want to go to a Spanish restaurant called Tio Pepe's. It's downtown and it's in a dungeon. hee hee. Not really, but you go downstairs, and the restaurant looks like a castle. The bad thing is that I went there many many moons ago with my last boyfriend for Valentine's Day and haven't been there since. All the candles had red candleholders, so the place looked scary, but the food was excellent and the sangria was even better. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants of all time.
Now, here's the dilemma. I'm not really that into Valentine's Day. Last year Ed got me a box of chocolates (all with different nuts in them), and I never ended up eating them. Pretty much the only chocolate with nuts that I like comes with a brown wrapper and the name Snickers on it, but he didn't know me that well last year, so it's not his fault. He also bought me a tshirt that says Ms. Wonderful (it's a nightshirt) and some red boxer shorts that are now his spare nighties if he stays over. hee hee. I think I got him a card and maybe one other thing. So, I am torn. Should I invite him to Valentine's dinner and then I can plan it and go where I want? Should I suggest that I really want to go to Tio Pepe's and for him to get on the ball and make reservations? Or, should I just lay low and wait for him to invite me someplace? Time is ticking away people. What say you?

I think he knows you well enough now to not be upset if you suggest the restaurant. Sometimes a guy will be relieved to hear what his woman wants. I say mention it and then you'll either get to go to your favorite place or you'll find out that he was already planning something special. Either way, you win.

Wish your good luck on the St. Valentine's Day.
It's so nice to spend the day with your boyfriend,
coz I haven't found my one yet...phew!
But it's OK - I'm satisfied with my single status
and will meet the one in some day, I hope.
I'm a real breezy person love to do my favorite
things!
i'm with YB...
You guys are the best.
I'll mention it tomorrow. I'm sure come February the restaurants will be swamped with reservations, and I'm not eating at 10pm.
