Voila, It's That Time Again
I just realized that the last time I was in a little slump was at the end of January, so I guess it's just that time for me again. Hey..time for my slump-nothing else!
I have this book called 'The Secret Language of Birthdays' and it's a really cool horoscope type book, but it dedicates two pages to every day of the year to describe you, your personality type, etc.. It also has your numbers and tarot cards, a meditation statement and some advice. If you want additional information it has general stuff on your zodiac sign, your element (earth, water, fire, air), and maybe some other stuff that I can't recall. I am not big into horoscopes, but when I read the section on me, I figured I had to buy the book. It was so perfect and so true about me it was kind of scary.
Whenever I read this book, it tells me that once in my life I should just leave all my attachments. Then, of course, I start thinking about leaving. Considering my dad was in the military, I have left all my attachments plenty of times, so you would think that feeling of leaving everything is already fulfilled, but it's not. The book says I love my freedom and I want to just go go go. I honestly do. If I could go to my house right now, get the bird-dog and a bike trailer, I would go. I don't know where, but maybe I would just travel around until I find someplace I like. Oh, if things could be that easy, I would be a happy girl.
Yesterday, my coworker and I were also talking about our company getting shut down. All these rumors are just spreading around (like that's anything new) and we were thinking that if we did get shut down, maybe we'd get like 2 months severance pay or something like that. I think that would be the answer to my prayers. I have my rainy day fund. I could live off the severance pay and then when the two months are up, I will start looking for a new job and use my rainy day money in the meantime.
I better start praying. It's almost spring!

Everyone needs a break every now and then - I know I do.
Travelling rocks. What's that saying? Something like "the world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page"...
Get yourself out there, woman!
Hey I bought that book a few years ago for the same friggin' reason. My birthday pages were dead on too!
Go travel.
Hi IamKimIam. That's along name to type. I think everyone should buy that book. It's kind of scary how true it seems.
Yeah, I need to just go, huh?
