AMA Grand Tour
I don't know about you guys but everytime I see that peach in my profile I get a little hungry. hee hee.
The zit factory is still in full force, but when I get home I'll try some of the remedies. Barbara, I have no idea what proactiv is. I'll ask around town.
Today is the funeral for my friend Bob. I'll be taking a 1/2 day and heading to New Jersey. The ceremony is from 7-9 tonight. It's going to be a pretty sad ceremony. I'll have to remember my tissues-just in case.
Back to the subject of this post. The American Motorcyclist Association has announced their Grand Tour for 2005. I participated last year by going to 11 small towns in 11 states and I'm supposed to be getting a plaque for going to more than 10, but the guy there can't seem to get my crazy address right, so I still haven't received it. This years contest is called "Up, Down and All Around". Once you sign up, they send you a list of the 48 contiguous states, the high and low points of each state and then the 4 corners. If you get 5/6 of the points in three adjoining states you win a plaque, OR if you get two non adjoining states you get a plaque. I'm so into this contest. I still haven't signed up though. The contest runs from April 01 to November 30. I am looking at my maps trying to figure out which state I want to go to other than Maryland. And just an FYI, MD touches a lot of states. I'm going to go for the challenge and try to get the non adjoining. I am so pumped up about this, it's ridiculous. It's the competitive spirit in me. I asked Ed if he was going to sign up and he said 'No, I have too much other riding to do.' When the time comes and I'm going to all these places and he tags along he'll wish he had signed up. HA!!HA!!
I'll keep you guys updated on my adventures and I can't wait to get the list. It's 15 bucks to sign up and then I'm on my way. One guy that I mentioned it to was complaining about how big Ohio is and he didn't want to waste his money. I said "dude, you spend more than 15 bucks on candy a day and you have 8 months to get around your state. It's all a mindset." Some people are such babies. If you like to ride like I do, this should be a cakewalk. For the people that just ride to the bar, they'd never make it. Sucks to be them. Have a nice Thursday all. The weekend is almost here!!!

Hey Peachy,
Proactive really works. Its usually sold on tv in infomercials or sometimes at the mall at a kiosk. My son had a bad case of acne a couple of years ago and that thing works miracles!
i don't know. my bro (when he was home) had really bad acne (hell, he still does) and i bought him some proactiv and it didn't help at all...
i don't think you have a ton of zits, though... just one, right? if it's just one, put toothpaste on it. i know. sounds stupid and hokey, but it usually worked for me.
if it's just one, i dab some noxczema (sp?) on it. dries that sucker right up.
hey, good luck on that contest. sounds like quite an adventure.
Rest In Piece Bob. I'm sorry for your loss.
I'm jealous...I haven't been on a motorcycle in years....:)
$15 a day on candy? Can I be his friend? Sorry about your friend, Peachy. Hugs.
