Tacos for Dinner

How good are they? Clap for them. I've been watching too much Isaac Mizrahi. hee hee.

When I was making dinner last night (well, running up and down the stairs between commercials), I heard that Portia di Rossi was eating only 300 calories a day when Ally McBeal was at its best. I couldn't believe it. I remember watching her when she first came on the show, but I don't remember her looking really skinny or anything like that. So, I heard the tidbit and put it out of my mind.

This morning when I got to work, I looked at the nutritional ingredients label on my yogurt, and it said that one serving was 140 calories. This was the second thing I had eaten this morning. I ate a Luna Bar as soon as I got out of the gym. That has 180 calories. So, by 7:15, I had already eaten more than Portia could eat all day! Can you imagine? I don't know how people can stand to be anorexic.

How can you not eat if you're hungry? Often, I'm not even hungry and I keep eating, but if I was absolutely starving, I would have to eat. And not just 1/2 a wheat thin either. I'd chow down. I guess that's why it's a disorder. You're mental when you have crazy thoughts preventing you from eating food when that's what you were born to do. So sad.

Anyway, today I am happy that I can eat what I want. Here's my list for today.
1 Cookies and Cream Luna Bar
1 Yoplait yogurt, banana
1 bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese
1 apple crisp granola bar
1 big bowl of chili with onions, cheese, and sour cream (so good!)
1 cinnamon toast rice cake
1 piece of gum
No candy today-hmmm... I'm stuffed. Oh, and the tacos were so good last night. This girl can't eat enough sour cream.
